It's the mid 2200s and humanity is still picking up the pieces from a devastating alien attack.  Remnants of their genetic experimentation still wander the deadlands, and while factions squabble over the debris, a team of super-powered fighters band together to face a new threat.

The Welcoming Committee of Magic High is a webcomic I started back in 2004 that follows Kit Conrad, a young magic user who can turn into a wolf.  One day, a welcoming committee from a renowned magic training academy comes to speak to her.  This comic is no longer updating, and will be restarted from scratch sometime in the future.  (The link goes to the drunk duck webcomic collection)
